Take the opportunity to explore our region during your shopping weekend.

The Ardennes is found the Southern corner of Belgium in the Region of Wallonia.
This is Belgium's "green lung". The term "Ardennes" is often applied to the whole of Wallonia, especially with regard to the Region's natural heritage and ecological assets.
Our woods, forests, nature reserves and rivers are ideal places for lovers of ecology, nature, plants and animals. What often surprises visitors is the density of nature and variety of "nature sports" activities offered in such a small area.
So, whether you need peace and quiet to forget your stress, or sporting activities to make the most of the fresh air, the Ardennes is for you!

An historic town

Messancy village is at the heart of southern Luxembourg, near the town of Arlon, close to the border between Belgium, France and Luxembourg - an area popular with Belgians and foreigners for its natural beauty and historic towns. At the height of its splendour at the end of the 19th Century and in the first half of the 20th Century, this pretty village was known as "Messancy, flower of the country".

Arlon
Oldest town in Belgium

Arlon lies in the very heart of one of the finest regions in Belgium. We managed to preserve the surrounding nature, the peace, the beauty of a little town while developing the assets of a town proud of its status as the Province of Luxembourg’s chief town.
In the town centre, hidden amongst the small, historic streets you will find numerous restaurants, the Arlon archaeological museum, which holds one of the richest collections of Gallic Roman artefacts in Belgium and the Gaspar museum with its most famous piece: the altarpiece of Fisenne, a work of art from the school of Antwerp at the beginning of the 16th century.

Luxembourg
Listed as a "World Heritage Site"

Luxembourg is without a doubt one of the most welcoming of cities with much to offer in its immediate surroundings. Listed as "World Heritage Site" by UNESCO in 1994, the old town and the fortifications of the ancient château of the Counts of Luxembourg are well worth a visit, along with the major tourist attraction, the "blockhouses", underground fortifications dating back to the 16th Century.
